Managing Microsoft Internet Explorer Favorites:

The web resources you add to your Internet Explorer's Favorites List  will quickly degenerate into an disorganized mess unless you regularly edit them. The Internet Explorer's Organize Favorites Screen offers some powerful editing features which make the process an easy matter.

Note:  The Favorites List management features vary significantly from one version of Internet Explorer to the next making it difficult to offer step-by-step procedures.  Consult the onscreen help files for the version of MIE that you are using.

PC Version 4: 

  1. Click on the Help menu.
  2. Select Contents and Index.
  3. Select the Index tab and scroll down the list until you see the entries for Favorites.
  4. Explore the links.

Mac Version 4:

  1. Click on the Help menu. 
  2. Select Internet Explorer Help.
  3. Click on Favorite Pages. 
  4. Explore the links that appear.

Note: If you are using a different version of Internet Explorer, you may need to adjust the steps above.  Start with the Help menu.
