Setting up Your Class Website

1. Download the zipped/stuffed file
2. Unzip/unstuff the file to your hard drive
3. Open the classwebsite folder
4. Copy each student# folder to a separate floppy disk
5. Guide students in creating their website
6. Move the student# folders back to the classwebsite folder on the hard drive, replacing the original folders

Important Note: You will need to make an adjustment to each computer's Netscape Composer Preferences to preserve the student# folder's links back to the class website homepage.

1. Open Netscape Communicator
2. Select Preferences from the Edit menu
3. Click on the + sign in front of Composer
4. Click on Publishing
5. Uncheck the box in front of Maintain Links
6. Click on OK
