Resizing web browser windows
There is no reason to accept the default browser window size offered by your web browser. You can resize the browser window by clicking in the bottom right hand corner of the window and while holding the mouse button, dragging the corner upwards and to the left. You can reposition the browser on the screen by placing the cursor in the title bar at the top of the browser window and holding down the mouse button while you move the browser window.
It is often advantageous to resize and reposition the browser window to allow access to multiple browser windows and text editors. I have seen research professionals running simultaneous searches in multiple browser windows with a text editor open on the side for cutting and pasting URL’s and search strings. It definitely works best with a large monitor but is possible even with a small one.
